Thank you for shopping with Maite Co. We want you to love your purchase. If something is not right, we’re here to help.
1. Eligibility for Returns & Refunds
- You may request a return or refund within 30 days of the delivery date shown in the tracking information.
- To be eligible, the item must be:
- Unused and in the same condition that you received it;
- Free of stains, odors, or signs of wear;
- In its original packaging (where applicable), including tags, manuals, and accessories.
If an item is returned in a condition that does not meet these requirements, Maite Co. reserves the right to refuse the return or apply a partial refund.
2. Non-Refundable & Non-Returnable Items
Unless required by applicable law, the following items are non-refundable and cannot be returned:
- Gift cards and store credit;
- Downloadable or digital products;
- Final sale or clearance items clearly marked as “Final Sale”;
- Personalized, custom, or made-to-order items;
- Items damaged due to misuse, negligence, or improper care after delivery.
If a product is not eligible for return or refund, this will be indicated on the product page or during checkout.
3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us at support@maitecompany.com within 7 days of delivery.
Please provide:
- Your order number;
- A description of the issue;
- Clear photos or videos showing the problem and the packaging.
Once reviewed, we may offer:
- A replacement;
- A repair (where applicable);
- A partial refund; or
- A full refund, depending on the circumstances and product type.
Maite Co. reserves the right to determine the appropriate remedy in each case, in compliance with applicable U.S. consumer protection laws.
4. How to Request a Return
To start a return, please follow these steps:

Contact us:
Email support@maitecompany.com with:- Full name;
- Order number;
- Item(s) you wish to return;
- Reason for the return;
- Photos, if applicable.

Wait for authorization:
We will review your request and, if approved, send you:- A return authorization confirmation;
- The return address and any additional instructions.

Ship your item:
- Pack the item securely in the original packaging (if possible);
- Clearly include your name and order number inside the package;
- Use a trackable shipping method.
Unless the return is due to our error (damaged, defective, or wrong item), you are responsible for return shipping costs.

Confirmation & inspection:
Once we receive your return, we will inspect the item and notify you by email that we have received and reviewed your returned product.
5. Refund Processing
- If your return is approved, your refund will be processed to your original method of payment.
- Refunds generally take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or payment provider.
- Shipping charges paid on the original order are non-refundable, unless the return is due to an error by Maite Co. or a defective product.
If more than 10 business days have passed and you have not received your refund, please contact your bank or card issuer first. If you still need assistance, email us at support@maitecompany.com.
6. Exchanges
At this time, we do not guarantee direct item-for-item exchanges.
If you wish to exchange an item, the usual process is:
- Return the original item following the steps above; and
- Place a new order for the replacement item you want.
If an exchange option is available for your product category, we will inform you via email.
7. Order Cancellations & Changes
We process orders quickly. If you need to cancel or modify your order:
- Contact us immediately at support@maitecompany.com with your order number and request.
- We cannot guarantee that we will be able to cancel or change your order once it has been placed, especially if it has already been processed or shipped.
If cancellation is not possible, you may still be able to return the item according to our policy.
